Fuel Facility Valuation Assessment, Alaska Airlines, Port of Seattle, Seattle, WA
On behalf of Alaska Airlines (the majority stakeholder in the Sea-Tac International Airport Fuel Consortium), Wood Harbinger provided a detailed engineering cost estimate and valuation assessment of the Port of Seattle Aviation Fuel Facility. The total fuel holding capacity of the facility is 574,000 barrels (approximately 24 million gallons), and the total estimated value of the facility systems is $95 Million.
The scope of work included a detailed engineering estimate for the following components of the fuel system facility:
- Above and below-ground aviation fuel system components, structures, and control and monitoring equipment associated with acceptance, product delivery, and storage at the tank farm;
- Administration and Control Building at the tank farm, including control and monitoring equipment;
- Emergency Containment and Fire Suppression Buildings and systems; and
- Aviation fuel distribution system to the airport and airport hydrants (piping and hydrants).
