P-350 Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Facility wins the 2007 Society of American Military
Engineers Design Excellence Silver Award, Seattle Post.
Wood Harbinger’s innovative design for an Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Facility at Naval Station
Kitsap, Bremerton received the 2007 Design Excellence Silver Award from the Seattle Post of
the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
As Prime A/E, we provided fully designed drawings and specifications to construct the Industrial
Wastewater Pretreatment Facility with state-of-the-art treatment systems for hexavalent chromium,
cyanide, heavy metal, oily wastewater, and chelated and acid/alkaline cleaning wastewaters. The facility
uses ion exchange, chemical precipitation, ceramic crossflow microfiltration, and other
innovative technologies for treating metal plating and shipyard wastewaters.
