Juanita Elementary School is a 55,000 SF, 2-story building located in Kirkland, WA.
The school replaced a series of buildings built in the 1950’s. This new elementary school
includes classrooms, staff offices, library, kitchen, commons, and gym areas.
Wood Harbinger provided mechanical engineering services, including construction administration,
for the new school.
A heating-only system was designed with outdoor air used for cooling and is made up of
six central air handling units, along with hot water reheat served by two condensing boilers.
