Guggenheim Hall Renovation

University of Washington - Seattle, WA

Guggenheim Hall is a 56,200 SF, 4-story historic building constructed in 1929. Wood Harbinger completed the mechanical engineering for the project Pre-Design Study and is providing the construction documents. The program for the renovated building includes a lecture hall, a machine shop, classrooms, faculty offices, fluid dynamics labs, and instructional labs.

Most of the mechanical systems are of the building's original construction and are being completely removed and replaced. In addition, new fire sprinklers will be installed throughout the building. More Education Projects. More Sustainable Design/LEED Certification Projects.
