Wood Harbinger is providing mechanical and electrical design services for the phased revitalization
of 22 high rise apartment buildings managed by the Seattle Housing Authority. The buildings
remain occupied during construction, requiring innovative engineering and construction
sequencing to facilitate construction with minimal interruption to tenants.
Services include design, permitting, cost estimating, and construction administration to
rehabilitate major infrastructure components and common use areas. Typical
improvements include waterline replacement, hot water boiler replacement, ventilation system
improvements, elevator rehabilitation, intercom and call system replacement,
new emergency generators, and electrical system upgrades.
