Wood Harbinger is providing mechanical and electrical predesign and design services for the
reconstruction of Fire Station #28. Our design includes heating, ventilating, plumbing, electrical
power, lighting, backup generator, telephone, paging, fire alarm, fire protection,
intercom, alert notification, and security systems.
This project replaces the original Fire Station #28, built in 1951, with a
new building located at the same site. The new station is designed to the LEED Silver level
and Seattle Fire Department standards.
The project also adds a 5,400 SF structure behind the station to
house vehicles and equipment for the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Team.
