Through expansion and remodeling, St. Clare Hospital had out-grown the capacity of its emergency generator.
Wood Harbinger evaluated emergency power loads and developed a plan to meet current and future capacity
requirements. The plan added a second generator, parallel switch gear, and load shedding software to
shed non-essential loads if either generator should fail. This design addressed the need for
additional capacity while improving reliability through the use of redundant generators.
