Professionally licensed in nine states, Tom is an industry leader in healthcare electrical and technology systems planning and design. In his 40-year career, he has worked on numerous facilities locally and nationally, including Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, and most recently MarinHealth Oak Pavilion in Greenbrae, California. Tom loves collaborating with visionary owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver highly successful projects and flexible facilities that adapt to changes in healthcare delivery. As a critical thinker and strategist, Tom understands the value of up-front planning. His philosophy of investing in front-end planning, considering future trends, communicating proactively, and working collaboratively supports successful outcomes.
Tom has served on many industry boards, including ACEC Washington. He currently serves on the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) 2026 Healthcare Guidelines Revision Committee as well as the Underwriter’s Laboratory UL 1069 Standards Technical Panel for Nurse Call Systems.
Tom is also an active community leader. He is involved in Rotary service work locally and internationally that improves the lives of others. He also serves on the board of ArtsFund providing critical support locally for the arts sector that seeks to improve education through the positive impact of the arts.
